Car Battery

Asked by GuruVY3FM Aug 09, 2018 at 01:07 PM about the 1998 Cadillac DeVille

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I see that Walmart sells Value Power Lead Acid Automotive Battery, Group 24F. Can or is it a good battery that I can use for my 1998 Cadillac Deville?
Thank You

Look a little further at Walmart's battery lineup and find a Group 24 with the terminal posts in the correct location/orientation. My 93 Deville used a side terminal battery and I used Walmart batteries over the 23 years I owned the car with no difficulties. The Group Number just tells the size. Look for a brand that meets the minimum CCA (cold cranking amps) rating for your car. Walmart's usually do.
