BOUGHT A 96 DEVILLE FROM A FRIEND WHO HAS NOT DRIVEN THIS CAR FOR 18 MONS. NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. I'M GETTING A SERVICE TRANNY READING & SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ..DIAG. SAYS "TURBINE SPEED SENSOR" CAR DRIVES,SHIFTS FINE (CITY AND HIGHWAY)....TRANNY & SERVICE LIGHT SOMETIMES STAYS OFF FOR 2 WEEKS, ON A DAY, OFF A WEEK ON FOR A HOUR....REALLY NOT TRYING TO DO A REBUILD OR AS U KNOW $1500 TO GO IN AND GET THE SENSOR UNLESS I REALLY HAVE TO....WHAT DO I DO IF THE CAR IS DRIVING AND SHIFTING FINE?????

I have a 95 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with a 4.9 engine in it and I got a I think it's a 96 Cadillac DeVille with the Northstar engine in it will the transmission out of the Northstar fit my 4.9
