Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The compressor is new and works with direct voltage applied, the blower fan also cuts off heat as I turn the temp down and continues blowing cooler air without the compressor Kicking on,  also replaced the temperature switches  and the computer box.
The heat comes on and works perfectly..

Are you sure you have enough refrigerant in the system? If you are sort the switch will not make andvturn it on. If you apply direct power of course it will turn on. On you car you have at least 4 cans of refrigerant, did you hook up gauges to see what pressures you have. On say a 70 degree day you back pressure should be about 70 on the low side at startup and around 150 on the high side and both will come down somewhat the low side went operating normally will be about 25 PSI
