How to stop air compressor draining my battery?

My 1995 Cadillac Deville air ride compressor
is draining my battery. Can I unplug a fuse or
stop stop the compressor running until I get
the line or air shocks fixed? How and where ?
Please explain .

pull the fuse or disconnect the wire from the shock , I had those in my buick the compressor would run every time I started it up and it seized the shocks up , I replaced them with a coil over conversion shock , they weren't readily available so if you go that route get them in advance
