I have a 1998 Honda Civic Ex Coupe that recently had a new starter put on and the battery has full juice . The car will not satart . What are some causes I could start to look at ?

Does the starter engage? Does the engine turn but not start? Is there any sputtering when attempting to crank the engine?

No sputtering , no engine turning , no sounds coming from new starter . Car has gas and spark . Could it be an ignition relay , or enigine control module or clutch relay switch ?

I had a simular problem, when turn key over do you hear a click and humming ? There is a relay on passenger side you have to remove glove box to get to it
