How do you remove the front rotors on an 08 colorado, I do not know how to remove the hub

best advice,take it to your mechanic its kind of hard to explain step by step.
If there anything like the fullsize 4wd's there all a one piece hub, bearings, and rotors. The big nut has to come off. Save yourself the headache and let some one who knows your truck do it. My son started on his and said it ain't worth the busted knuckles and the talking to God.
When you pull the wheel off you'll see a hub with 5 or 6 bolts in it. Those need to come out and the one in the middle comes out. You can remove calliper first but helps to have someones foot on the brake while you loosen all the bolts I listed above. I took off calliper first then wedged a screwdriver in to hold the hub from turning while freeing the bolts.If I remember right there is also a cotter pin above the center nut you need to remove before that nut.
It isn't a mechanic worthy job. If you have a breaker bar or even better an impact wrench.
