Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I m in KSA. My car toyota camry 2009 156K km run
started having ABS light ON some 1K Km before. This
light normally off when i start the car but after travelling 4-
5 km it gets on. Secondly, At low speeds ( like when i start
travelling) i feel jerks when i press brake pedals but no
jerks at high speeds. Few days before during the jerks
check engine light was turned on. Which went off
automatically. I get checked to mechanic he said you
need to change brake shoes which i changed yesterday
with original from Toyota and rotors got turned. But still
car has the same ABS light on and jerks on low speed
braking but no check engine light uptill now. I think
mechanic diagnosed wrongly for changing brake shoes.
There is some other issue. In need of your advice.

The ABS module will give you code for the issue, more than likely a bad wheel sensor, but without scanning you want know which one to change,go let a brake specialist with the proper scanner check the ABS module for you.

I get the car code-checked. It is not showing any code on OBD-2 Meter. There is a feel of back jerk on car brake pedal when the car starts and it travels 3-4 KM. It happens only on low speed.

In your part of the World....consider taking this vehicle toa Toyota Dealer for proper Diagnosis. You need a Toyota Scan Tool for proper Diagnosis and repair. Good Luck
