I have an 08 Acadia and when the oil is low (which is every three weeks or so, using it some where) my warning of this is the stability control light comes on as well as the traction control going off. And it runs like crap. Then I put almost a quart in and voila it stop. What is wrong with it?

Low engine oil ...2 qts cause traction control msg and check engine light. Did a in depth obo check a lot of goofy items come up, e.g cam sensor etc. Serviced oil level to mid-full range msg goes away. Need to clear engine check Light (disconnect battery) ....everything begins to work correctly.
