98 gmc

Hi I also have a 98 gmc that was sitting for 3
yrs I changed the tranny on it now I had her
started and running for awhile but she idled
funny im thinking its the old gas left in it fuel
pump works and everything maybe it sat to
long so I tried the next day to get her started
and now she wont even kick tried pouring
little bit gas into the carb she will turn over
but wont catch now any suggestions

Check fuel pressure, if pressure is good then just darin and install new fuel, if no pressure, check fuel pump, they tend to go bad after sitting for a while, hoses get eaten up
