Unfortunately this is sort of common with the Pacifica. Have a dealership check out the body to frame mounting bolts to see if any have come loose and are rubbing where they shouldn't be. Also have them check out the bushings in the front end steering components. Hopefully this will solve your problem.
I know this is old but for others it may help. We had the whole front end replaced (ok, almost) and it turned out to be the strut. replaced and it resolved. The tech's wife had the same problem in her car. We had all bushings, tie rod, mounts, etc replaced.
my front end feels like it is seperating........I have an 04 Pacifica. Do you think I need lower front control arms( expensive) or struts. I think this is a real issue with Pacificas and Chrylser should address the issue. I have been to several garages trying to find an answer each one comes up with a different problem and solution.
My 2018 Pacifica has been to two different dealers several times and the ball joint and control arm on the passenger side has been replaced. We still have a loud noise coming from the passenger front end that sounds like bottoming out every time we hit a pothole. The problem remains and I am dissatisfied with Chrysler corporation’s response. Car should be recalled until the problem is resolved.
