Lots of variables. You should be able to get a scrap yard hood for around $100- $250. Try to find one in your color and save the $300 painting fee. Changing them is not hard. Two bolts at each hinge and the hood is off. Stuff some old towels in the corners to reduce scratching. When the hood is off, swap the center latch bale on to the new hood. Put the hood in place and install the bolts lightly. Close the hood and check for an equal gap where the hood meets the fenders. Adjust as necessary and tighten the bolts. Adjust the sides of the hood with the two knobs so the hood is at the same height as the fenders. Adjust the gap across the front by raising or lowering the latch in front of the radiator.
