Why does car belts screech on startup?

2019 installed new altanator,altanator belt,& fan belt. Yesterday sitting at light
screeching happened and battery light came on. But as soon as I started driving
noise stoped and light went out. 2020 I noticed about every morning upon
startup the belts screech.

Dirty belts, a small oil or coolant leak can cause that . One of the other pulleys could be stiff/worn , try some belt dressing ,

Maybe the new alternator pulley or another pulley, like the belt tensioner. Check the belt routing too.
