I was trying to jump off my jeep today and it would turn over but all of a sudden the starter would stay engaged and even when I turn the key off. I had to disconnect the jumper cable for it to stop. 1 Answer

The starter was turning the engine over. Luckily my battery was dead or the starter would keep spinning. What's wrong with it?
