I suppose he means those things arent working and he wants to know why maybe. Or maybe he is just giving us a fun fact. The GEM module controls lights and locks if there not working check all your fuses to the GEM module they should be listed in your owners manual.

Replace the interior dome light and door lock fuses.

dome light may be unrelated change the bulb. I have seen wires inbetween the body and the door break quite often. do you have power to the master window switch
