transmission was qt low put half a qt of power steering fluid in. have not started engine. what is proper way to fix problem of removing the fluid.

I wouldn't worry about it. Probably not enough to make a difference.

Bob is right. Power steering uses ATF anyway, and if you used some generic P/S fluid it's just about the same stuff or identical. No worries

we run a half qt of engine oil in our a/t racing transmissions.the cats out of the bag now. .bob and ford nut are not nuts...
