Alternator Dodge Grand Caravan

Asked by GuruDVZWS4 Aug 01, 2024 at 05:53 PM about the 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm not sure if I'm just not searching for the right thing, but does anyone know
if I could use a 2008 Nissan Quest alternator in a 2006 Dodge Grand
Caravan. We just bought the nissan alternator and then the rest of the car
went caput. A friend gave us the caravan, but it needs and alternator.

Thank you for any help.

Very unlikely, Chryslers have a computer controlled charging system so part numbers must match, or it just won't work even if it bolts up.
