open up the slave cylinder, let one master full bleed out. have a pal press the pedal while you release the fluid down at the slave, preferably thru a bit of nalgene aquarium hose into a bottle for proper disposal. repeat..and repeat, until the assistant feels the clutch engaging....yes you need an assistant...tried to monkey around with a shop vac but you need two guys!

I love the old Datsuns. my 610 wagon was turquoise with white interior! the DCH-30 hitachi carb was pretty easy to rebuild, second time cause I hadn't tightened a plug enough in there- switched the old 4 speed with a 280sx 5-speed before my drunken neighbor ran into the back of it and pushed it up a telephone pole~

I saw a handy way to fill a hydraulic system but I couldn't find the video. They used a high pressure oil can and a piece of hose. Stick the hose on the can and the other end on the bleeder nipple. Open the nipple and squeeze the handle. It sends brake fluid into the system from the bottom up. The bubbles rise up to the reservoir. Here's the type of oiler they used - http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Oil-Fluid-Suction-High-Pressure- 250ml-Feed-Oil-Gun-Can-Fluid-/170898449898? hash=item27ca5765ea&vxp=mtr

Nice. used to have (in fact still do) basically a bike pump with a fitting on the end....beats using your mommy's turkey baster (yeach where it's been?) and seals are leather on this thing handy for pullin extra coolant from the overfill bottle, excessive brake fluid from reservoirs...goes where no fluids like to go----pushes fluids to, like manual transmission oil is hard to fill that way tooo-
