Problems with our Durango

Asked by cowgirl161 Dec 12, 2016 at 09:33 PM about the 2005 Dodge Durango

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have an 05 Dodge Durango hemi engine
that we just recently bought from a dealer and
my boyfriend was driving it to work one day
and when he was spending up it cut out and
died on him he can't get it to start it cranks over
but won't start with no warning at all it acts like
it's not getting any fuel. We haven't tried to fix it
yet was wondering if anyone out there has had
the same problem and knows how to fix it.

Try getting the diagnostic trouble codes read, that may give you a good idea what happened. If you can't get it up to a parts store for a free code scan, you can buy your own code scanner for about 75-100 bucks. Then research the code/s you get online.
