2005 Grand caravan, ABS dash light is on. Is there a way to tell what probe it is and can I remove and clean the probes?

The sensor you are referring to that monitors the ABS system , and if your car has it, Traction/ stability control are wheel speed sensors. They monitor the rpm's of each wheel independently.. Cleaning them to fix? Probably not, unless they are really caked with mud or something. But the thing is, when the ABS light is on, it does not necessarily mean the sensors are bad. It means there has been a fault detected in the ABS system and that needs to be addressed.

"Is there a way to tell what probe it is" -- yes, there is a scanner for the ABS system. The parts store scanner usually won't read it. A repair shop would have a scanner for the ABS and they can scan it as part of a repair estimate.
