A loud, whining buzzing sound when I turn on the engine. It subsides a little as I drive it but it is still there!!!!

You need to pop the hood and listen. Try to narrow it down but keep your hands clear of the moving parts!

probably a belt tensioner pulley but first spray with wd40 while running , look for a change of noise . narrow it down. take a short rad hose section and listen throe it keeping hands and hose away from whizzing squealing parts!
