Car knocking

Asked by Nakisa Jun 09, 2017 at 05:57 PM about the 2001 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang v6 that is making a knocking
noise. It just had an oil change and has always been well
taken care of. There is no oil in spark splits and the oil
level is fine. I just replaced the fan and the ccrm in it. Does
anyone know what could be the problem. I believe it's
coming from the left side of my engine.

It knocks bad when I hit the accelerator. It kind of sounds like a loud knock when you accelerate but a tap tap at when it is started.
