just had similar problem with my 97 1500 Z 71 4/4 5.7 vortex we replaced several sensor ,the distributor EGR valve , fuel spider injection, replace fuel pump and did compression check , i had very low leftside compression on these cylinder rightside were very good . and now it seems that the timming has slipped a new timming chain is next to be replaced , a compression check in the beginning might have save me a lots of money and time but the mech went with resolving the codes and fuel pressure.

comment on my first answer , my trk cranks and run but has very little power runs rough all codes were address and it still ran rough , a new timming chain and gear is now being replaced will let you know if that fixes the problem

A faulty ground In or to the instrument cluster..... Not battery ground to block or chassis, though that could also be a problem, but faulty ground behind your dash going to cluster, or somewhere on the instrument panel board itself. Cheap fix, big time headache.
