Are these tailights special?
Alright so i was told these taillights were custom. But I found another one with the same lights. This truck is a 81 chevy Cheyenne. Could it be that these cheyennes were made in mexico? Do cheyennes made in mexico have different parts?

This 85 chevy Cheyenne has the same lights.
Every image I could find of '81 Cheyenne looks like this
I heard that cheyennes made in mexico were sometimes made differently? These lights kind of look like the late 60s early 70s taillights.
Look,s like some one done some modifing to it,took the lights out, welded the metal in,grinded it,and cut it out for the old cheyeene tail light,s.

Looks like the Mexicans didn't get the shipment of "73" taillights and used what was on the shelf
I have a c10 1976 my grandfather bought in 1976 , is now mine, and has taillights that were manufactured at the factory Arzipe Ramos ( Mexico )
i have an 81 as well same small tail lights and wooden floor on the box.
Yes these were built in Mexico but in 86 they switched up and went back to the way they looked up here
Hello I have the same question my father has this 1983 sport edition with those same lights and the wooden box too I never seen another one like it. It was purchased in mexico and still is in mexico.
