high idle in all gears

when the truck is turned on the check engine light usually comes on. if i turn
the vehicle off and pump the gas pedal then re start it it usually goes off.
while the check engine lights on it is in a low constant start of acceleration
and jumps or lurches while shifting into drive or thru gears.its odd cause it
can be temporarily corrected by turning the car of and rapidly pumping the
gas pedal. so is it safe to assume its an accelerator issue?

maybe the TPS , things should be tested before you replace them
