95 GMC 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 GMC 1500 ext cab 2wd. I just
did a 4" spindle lift from rough country. I
put 20x10 wheel with 33" m/t toyo tires.
Everything from the front suspension is
new. But one problem I'm having is that
when I'm driving down the road say 55
mph I hit a bump and the front tires shoot
to the left. As if there was no stability to the
trucks front end. Shocks are new. Ball
joints new. Tie rods new. Pitman arm and
idler arm new. Only thing not new are the
away bar links. Anyone might have a glue
to what's causing this??

Sounds like you have the dreaded bump steer. I would contact the lift manufacturer for possible remedies.

Thanks. I already contacted them via email. No response yet. You wouldn't know how to solve this issue?

Perhaps taking it to a suspension shop and have them look it over would be my suggestion, but they likely will not be able to fix a poorly designed lift kit if that is the problem.
