if it is mechanical such as a cable to lever and throw-out bearing then yes it can, but if it is hydraulic then no but you must make damn sure that you don't have air in the line, so you don't wind up needlessly replacing the clutch.

NO,you have a hydrolic clutch,if it is not working,it is probley a bad slave cylender.

Your clutch is hydraulic and it is self adjusting. Your best bet would be to bleed the clutch system if you have a dead pedal.
