35 minutes after taking truck with used motor installed, stopping at a store, came out turned the key to start engine and explosion occurred, I have a 90 day guarantee

90 day guarantee?? When did that start?? Take it back before the guarantee expires.., good luck.

Wow.. Honestly have never seen that before. Hope everyone is okay. Gas fumes bellowing under the hood and an ignition source occurred when starting I would presume.

WOW, just saw the picture.... you're lucky to have gotten out alive... My advice, get a new car.... fast... I agree with tennis shoes.... this is a complete loss and will be more than just an engine...your whole front end looks messed up.....

Crankcase or manifold full of fuel vapors at just the right concentration can make for a big boom.
