My check engine light isn't on. But the rpm needle will go up to a little over 2000 rpm. And it will chug. Please help

I had the engine scanned. And no codes were detected

If the check engine light comes on there will be codes.

could be several things, first check your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Have your battery load tested and check if your alternator is giving you over 14 volts. Check your air filter and change it if it is dirty. you could start of by putting fuel injector treatment in your gas tank when it is full of gas. Could be that the throttle body needs to be cleaned, it needs to be removed to do so. But start on the simple cheap things.

I had a tuneup done on it this past Tuesday. I'm at wits end.

Then go with the fuel injector cleaner and check the battery and the Alternator. if that don´t work you should have the trhottle body cleaned.
