I have a 2001 ford Taurus a warning light is on and
a theft light both will not go off can someone
please tell me whats wrong. It will not start

Do you have 2 keys? Try with the other key.

Yeah. The ignition isn't reading the right ohms off the key. If anything you may have to even bypass the security system by using resistors to put out the right amount of ohms. This video should help make better sense of what I'm talking about. https://youtu.be/OX1YaxDpn-k
