I have a 2002 dodge dakota slt 4wd will not shift out of 4 wheel lo. light stays on when going back to 2wd stays in 4w lo

put the vehicle in neutral to shift to 2WD

So we had a problem with the 4x4 just engaging without reason. Turns out when the wiring to the transfer case popped out, it engaged. Made a bracket and kept the wiring in from the transfer motor to the transfer case and worked beautifully.
