Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I changed the battery in my 2002 Dodge Intrepid; the radio now has a
loud sputtering sound in the speakers even with the motor off... It was working
great just before the battery change then immediately after it didn't.

I found the answer to my problem and THE FIX IS ... replaced the amp and my radio is good again. I wish someone would have told me this before I bought a new radio for nothing. Oh and if you ever have to unhook your battery for any reason FIRST pull the fuse for the amp... Located in the fuse panel left driver side.
