Question type: General
I am looking for a Subaru Forester 2008-2010 with low mileage and a sunroof. Not sure of the trim. I will know when I see it. Anyway. when I see a car on line or on car gurus that I like and want more info. I can never find the carfax displayed on their page. How come? Shouldn't they make it easy to find?

is it so much trouble to type carfax.com? our site would just take you there---these things are free from your used car dealer...as the VIN number will hide no secrets~

without the dealer needing disclosure about the car...in other words if you have to pay the $39.95 to get this as a non-car dealer~

I guess I did not know that I had to type it in. I assumed that it was provided according to other people.

It would be nice if cargurus would give a little more consideration....we get paid NOTHING for our expert advise...not even when it is right!
wiccanwoman118...CarGurus themselves do not provide free CarFax information. When you locate a car and THEN go to the Dealer's website, the CarFax (or AutoCheck...similar to, wanna-be CarFax service that some dealers use) should be provided within the listing for the car. If it's a Private Party Seller, you will normally have to ante up the $$ to get the CarFax Report.

I suggest you get only a Carfax for the car you are seriously considering. If you need a quick check you can go to free reliable sites. Go to Vincheck.info and run a free vehicle history check. here's the direct link http://www.vincheck.info/check/vin-check.php it is free, they won't be asking for a CC or anything.
