My car is doing a sort of jumping/grinding action if I push the gas a little further when I take off, it sometimes does it when the car shifts into second. What is the problem?

Hopefully it's not the tranny. You may have broken transmission mounts, bad wheel bearings, bad CV shafts. I would take it to a shop ASAP before you do too much damage. If you plan on fixing it yourself, I would get it off the ground and try to recreate the sound. Locate it, and start tearing into it.
