2000 dodge durango i ran over 2 wooden pallets now its stuck in 4th gear

going about 40mph ran over pallets in the middle of the road truck was still running i
pulled over to check for damage and i turned the engine off when i went to try to start it
no go for 2 hrs i looked touched and checked out then all the sudden it started and i soon
reolized i was not shifting i was stuck in 3rd or 4 th gear what to do

Check cable that goes to shift control solinoid on side of transmission sounds like it has been knocked off.

I have a 2004 Dodge Durango. While driving, I lost all power to the wheels, yet all electrical and engine seemed to be operating.
