Trying to figure out why gas is not getting to the vehicle to keep running

My boyfriend is working
on my car and he can't
figure out where a certain
line goes to be connected
I believe it has something
to do with the fuel and I
really need some help

there are several lines,some supply fuel, others for environmental purposes. if none were removed it could be a line has broken or been rubbed to where air is getting in and fuel is not. most systems are under pressure to operate, a system evap may have to be done by a mechanic with the right equip.to check it out.
