won't idel and smells ike it is getting to much gas

try changing the collent temp switch when it goes bad works like a choke.is located near thermo.housing screws out 1 wire connect

I would suspect you've got a leak in one of the fuel injector o-ring seals where the injectors go into the block. Not only are you sucking air through that cylinder, but fuel is escaping. Have the fuel system pressure checked, it's also possible that your fuel injection regulator has blown out, and is no longer controlling flow of fuel to/from the injectors, allowing them to flood.
You may try the idle air control module or egr valve,also the coolant temp sensor can make your car think its hot or cold when malfunctioning.
