1999 Dodge Stratus speaker issue

Asked by Mychamp Dec 31, 2019 at 06:25 PM about the 1999 Dodge Stratus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The speakers on the left side of my Stratus have
been going in and out, usually when I turn the car
on or off. I did a full speaker replacement, and I'm
still having the same issue. All speakers worked
perfectly after the replacement, but once I turned
my car back on a few minutes later, the left side no
longer worked. What can I do to fix this?

For your shifter . After you put it in park, put the key in and click it forward two clicks this will disengage the shifter, shift into neutral and start. There is a locking mechanism in your steering column that locks your shifter you have to take the top of your steering off where your horn is you take the screws from under the steering to dismantle the steering cover, to get to it and replace it
