97 Dodge Avenger Window

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My passenger window is stuck partially open, neither switch will do anything
and the motor produces no noise whatsoever.  It's already raining and money
is tight, is there a way to move the window off track without damaging the
equipment so it can be propped up for now?

There is a couple of things you can do but both involve removing the door panel. Once panel is off you can try tapping on the window motor with a hammer while holding the window switch button so that the window will go up if it does work or remove window motor then you can move window with your hand and cut a 2x4 the length to fit from bottom of window to bottom of door that will hold the window up until you get a chance to fix.
