no " whir" from fuel pump

i replaced fuel pump and its relay, still no " whir". what else can i try? 3.3l v-6???

Are you getting fuel pressure? It can be hard to hear the pump working, especially if the rubber insulators are getting soft. If you don't have fuel pressure and you're sure you changed the right relay, you may have to check the wiring for a short or open. Before you start looking, though, are you sure you plugged it back in? If the fuel gage is reading empty, check the connectors.
