Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When my car is first ran (cold start) it runs great for the first few minutes then starting jerking/bucking and then at a stop will stahl.  I have taken it to three shops that can't seem to fix the problem or find out what it is.  I replaced all of the hoses, fuel regulator, spark plugs and fuel filter.  No change.  The jerking also seems worse when I am stepping on the gas.  What could be the problem???  One shop did say possible pcm (something computer module).....

Could be numerous issues, crank position sensor is a common one, throttle position sensor is another, and mass airflow sensor is also possible. I would suggest having a dealership look at it and check the crank position sensor.
