the fuel system may have picked up something to Finnish off the already half plugged fuel filter, adding fuel stirs up possible debree ,or the station tanks have a lot of water from condensation and are low enough to be sending contaminated fuel, some older stations have been known to have six inches or more of water at bottom of tanks, rust also stirs when they drop new fuel at a refill, ask the attendant if any complaints are coming in!
