I have a 2001 Ford Expedition. It starts up just fine, but if after I drive it for a little while and turn off the engine then try to restart the car will not turn on. The battery is working and the engine is "turning over," but just won't ultimately start up. Any ideas?

When it acts up you need to check and see what you dont have like fuel pressure or spark that will narrow down what it could be

I suspect an ignition problem when it's hot. Coils sometimes fail when they heat up. Try some starting fluid when it happens to see if you have spark.

I replaced my fuel pump replace my spark plugs my truck starts over but not start Any ideas please. Iam lostalso replace my ignition coil

I have a 2008 Ford Expedition King Ranch. It starts fine and drives fine for awhile, but when I slow down to idle at a stop light or go to park the engine will all of sudden start shaking and sputtering. I dont get a CEL or anything. '97 Ford Expedition XLT: Every now & then the door lock(s) go "nuts", it seems they are trying to "cycle", the knobs don't go up nor down but a "cycling" sound occurs in one or more of the door locks. I have a 97 ford expedition and the anti theft light flashes and stalls engine .I have had the computer reset twice and it cranked with the anti theft light going off.When I go out to crank 2 hours later back to the anti theft light back on and want crank.Idles up the shuts down .I have had everyone envolved except the dealer.I actually reset computer 3 different times by turning ignition over on and off position times then anti theft light would go off .That worked 3 times now nothing.Some say it might be the control module but cant say for sure.Got any sugestions? 4 Answers
