I have a 2001 Ford Expedition and my rear left brake light and blinker are not working BUT it works just fine as a tail light. Also noticed that the right portion of my brake light up top is out. Can anyone offer some advice.Thanks

I have a 2001 Ford Expedition and my rear left brake light and blinker are not working BUT it works just fine as a tail light.  Also noticed that the right portion of my brake light up top is out.  Can anyone offer some advice.

....yah, you've got a bad ground happening there....need to take the end of the Battery cable and wirebrush the corrosion off of there...get it down to metal an d put the bolt back in assuring 300 cold cranking amps and Ground to the lights and chassis....ECU and other delicates~

...assure the battery is newish (five years old won't charge anymore)...this can be found by the identifying "knock-off" labels on the top of your battery indicating the month/year of it's first charge...they are not LEAD anymore (environmental suicide)....but tin/antimony alloy~...fyi...[pop's VP of Engineering at Interstate]~
