Usually it is the Blower Motor Resistor that give you the grief.
Ok. I will try that and let you know. Thanks for your help.
Try that didn't work. No my over head light is staying on and the heater blower motor is still doing its thing and the car chimes everyone in a while.
I have tried the resister and no change. Think it may be the gem mod. Thanks for your help.

did you end up figuring it out? my 01 Expedition Just started doing this as well.
No I have not figure this out yet. I tested the Gem and replaced it that didn't fix it as well. I replace the resisters again cause that what everyone things. Still no change. I think it might have to do something with the esc. Thats all I can figure out. I repaced the front controls also with a brand new one. Still no change. It does drain the battery even when the fan is not running. So its drain power like crazy. If I let it sit for 3 days it will need to be plug on charger to get it started again. If you figure this out let me know please. Thanks
Has anyone fixed this problem
It was a fuse in the fuse box under the hood in wrong spot. I changed everything everyone said. I took a fuse out for something and it stopped. The fuse for the grid think it was called was missing. Put that fuse there and rear defroster and all started working and blower motor worked great! I since have sold the car but I think it was a 15 amp fuse in wrong spot.
