My 2000 ford explore is shutting off when I'm at a red light or just stopped at the store. What would cause that. I just got a brand new radiator and a new pull it. My dad changed the spark plugs.

Check air filter and clean throttle body, replace fuel filter and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.

Have your dad check the resistance of the spark plug wires and the coil with an ohm meter. The specs can be obtained from the net.
