horsepower for 1992 daytona with 3.0 engine
I was wondering what the horsepower was for my 92 daytona iroc with a 3.0. I have found info ranging from 141 to 440

A 3.0 from the factory is 141 hp. With a few upgrades you can see 200 hp. A little research online will help you find the best things to tinker with.
3.0's aren't great for upgrades and they had problems with valve guides going bad early, causing excessive oil use and burning. (Bluish smoke from tailpipe, especially on startup). The 1992 3.0 V6 still had about 140 HP and 170 ft lb of torque. This V6 is the perfect candidate for turbo charging. I have had awesome results with turbo charging mine.
