2000 Ford Mustang Ran out of gas, put 4 gallons still won't start, cut off switch is pushed in and don't know how to reset it! HELP!

can you hear the pump kick on when you turn the keys forward? if so might just need to prime it.. turn the keys forward let the pump kick off then again 5 or 6 times... hope this helps

Running out of gas will also cause premature failure of the fuel pump.
