2000 Tauras wagon CD changer

Asked by DanMc Jan 04, 2009 at 09:28 PM about the 2000 Ford Taurus

Question type: General

I have been told that if the cd button is in the radio I can install a cd changer. The wiring is supposed to be where the factory location is.  Where is the location in the wagon?

I believe the factory location for a CD changer in the Taurus wagons is the left rear of the trunk/cargo area. It could be the right side, but it's definitely in the back.

The location of the cd changer is in the rear of the cargo area on the right hand side. There should be a small panel with 2 little clips holding it in place.
