Ford bantam problems

I drive a ford bantam when the engine is
hot it jerks and switches off then I must
wait for 10 to 15mins then it drives again

If this is the B3, F6 or B6 engine, check if it has a solid state coil. Change it to an older oil filled coil. Check the spark plug leads. Check and clean the battery cables.
