Is there a starter relay or ignition relay that has made my '84 subee wgn dead?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

new battery, all fuses checked good in fuse box on drivers side dash, all wires are clean of corrosion. Acts like I don't have a battery

Could be starter, ignition, or neutral safety switch. Is it standard or auto?

Standard tranny, new starter, everything is cold dead. no lights, clicks or sounds.

I am checking over all the wires for any bad connections now... I will be back on here tomorrow ... Thanks everyone!

It may just be a dead battery. Have you checked that ? Just because it is new does not mean it is not run down. Have you checked and cleaned the battery terminals and the cable ends?

Have you tried jump starting the car? Checked the clutch safety switch?
